World Health Organization declares COVID-19 a pandemic
2020 - On March 11, the World Health Organization declares COVID-19 a pandemic. Two days later, President Trump declares a national emergency. States close schools, and many colleges and universities suspend "in-person classes." (Sass, E. J. (2021, March 13). This was one of the longest shutdown that schools had experience. During this time education seemed to have come to a stop. Virtual education was introduced to so many students. This national wide global pandemic Covid 19 made education become a real crisis.
