One of the pioneers/philosophers in the study of change theory was Lewin (Yoder-Wise, 2019). Lewin’s theory is highly regarded and used as the basis for initiating change in many healthcare settings, however it was postulated in the late 1940s and early 1950s (Yoder-Wise, 2019). Can we discuss the key components to Lewin’s theory of change? Do we feel this is still a relevant theory to create and sustain change within an organization?
