The story; The Raven.

              Write a critical response to the story The Raven. The critical response should examine the story not only in terms of what themes and elements are contained within, but also how those elements are relevant in a modern day. For example, if you determine that a story deals heavily with obsession, you might then ask what are things that people obsess over in the modern day? Even though this will be based on your own conclusions, this should NOT be written from first person; all responses should be third person objective. Critical responses should use quotes and paraphrases from the original work in order to prove their assertions about the story. What you are really doing is analyzing what about the story might make it relevant even in the modern day.
