The merit of reviving the royal prerogative

The Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 has expressly repealed the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011. Section 2 of the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 has revived the prerogative powers to dissolve Parliament and to call a new Parliament. Critically discuss the merit of reviving the royal prerogative in such a constitutionally (and politically) sensitive issue.
