The ethics of online research

Some of issues that are important in social science include and to be discussed, informed consent and to assume access to private spaces. These principles are challenged in online platforms where
the notion of publicly available data is debated. Based on your own literature search describe some of the ethical challenges involved in qualitative online research and how to engage in social research in these spaces whilst still conducting ethical research.do we need a new set of guidelines for online platforms and why ?
