The Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 has expressly repealed the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011. Section 2 of the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 has revived the prerogative powers to dissolve Parliament and to call a new Parliament.
