Sustainable Urban Retrofit and Design of Selected Kuwaiti Streets

    The research is about evaluating the status of selected streets in Kuwait from two view points (i.e. walkability and cycling). After evaluation, a retrofit design shall be conducted using the relevant codes and standards. Thus, a thorough literature review is needed to cover the theoretical background for the following themes (street design, sidewalks, codes and standards available in developing countries, local codes available in Kuwait, similar research that is conducted in the gulf region, etc.)
