    Using Susan Ludvigson’s “Inventing My Parents” as a model, or “tracing over” it, write a similar poem characterizing a couple (your parents; your child inventing you and your husband or companion as his or her as parents; or any other couple you are acquainted with.) Think of the physical and psychological details, as well as of the sensory details (sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch), body language, voice, attitudes, etc., that would portray the two characters and their interactions.
