Identify an agency dedicated to supporting families with a member who has a specific disability. After the agency has been selected, the student will visit the agency’s website, and speak with a staff member. Students will share the informational resources, contact information with the class. You should describe the mission, type of services or programs offered, hours of operation and any other pertinent information that families could use. This assignment is meant to help students develop a network and resources for their professional experience working with families.
