South Asian musical genre

  Select one South Asian musical genre and one Middle Eastern genre from your book (see chapter 8) to read about, listen to, and discuss. Create a discussion post that addresses the following questions for both of the genres you selected. (Initial post) A. South Asian Genre: Name Provide a brief historical/developmental/influential synopsis of the musical genre. Describe the musical components of the genre that make it identifiable.
