Once we had identified what needed to be done, we started planning how we were going to get it done. My team included myself as lead designer, two web developers who handled coding and integration work, a copywriter who focused on SEO optimization efforts and a graphic designer who helped create visuals like logos and headers. Everyone worked together collaboratively throughout the project so that all aspects complemented each other in creating an effective website design.
This complex endeavor took over three months from start-to-finish before launching the new site live; however, some parts of the process such as coding took longer than expected due to unexpected technical challenges along the way which required additional debugging time for our developers. This pushed back our timeline by about 10 days but ultimately did not affect launch day too much.
When considering cost factors associated with this project it’s important to note that most of these were absorbed by the company itself including salaries paid out during development time as well as tools used (such as plugins) necessary for implementation into our existing infrastructure . In total I believe we spent around $4K USD in order for everything associated with this venture come together successfully including hosting costs after launch day went live.
The riskiest part of completing any kind of website redesign is ensuring compatibility across multiple devices & browsers while keeping performance efficiency high at all times since any downtime can immediately impact revenue streams negatively if customers cannot access your product/service offerings quickly enough - so response speed & page loading times are paramount! Luckily after extensive QA testing everything checked out perfectly across all devices & browsers so there was no need worry about potential compatibility issues post launch day !
