Social Movements

  Describe and define how the main types of Social Movements can be used/ pursued to address ONE sociological issue/problem in society. Be specific in your answer and give clear examples. Please contextualize your response within the primary sociological approaches addressed in this course as to how each Social Movement type would reflect the main sociological theories learned in this course. - 1 mark for effectively stating your sociological issue or problem identification and why it is an issue or problem in society. - 4 marks for defining and justifying how each Social Movement type may or may not be used each key sociological theory and for effectively defining each sociological theory. - 4 marks for effectively applying and considering how each sociological theory may be considered or not considered for each Social Movement type above. - 2 marks for overall analysis, logic, grammar, and answer coherence.
