Shoreline Hospitals ICU needs to prepare the staffing report for the next month and they need your help. Create a report in either a Word document or Excel document for how many hours each employee could work and ensure you have enough staff to keep your ICU running smoothly. The patient to Registered Nurse (RN) ratio is 1:1. For every patient one nurse is assigned. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ratio is 2:1. Each LPN can be assigned 2 patients. Include the salary for each staff member on the staffing report. A physician does not have the ratios like the registered nurse and licensed practical nurse.
