Sex-blindness

In Plessy v. Ferguson (Unit 5), Justice Harlan wrote in dissent, “Our Constitution is color-blind.” Consider the statement: The Canadian constitution is “sex blind.” Write an essay analyzing the truth of the second statement with respect to both constitutional text and the purposive approach. Is sex-blindness good? Why or why not? In your essay, be sure to refer to at least three cases.
