Poetry Analysis

  Write an essay that compares and contrasts two of the poems we have considered in Perrine's text, or choose one from Perrine and one from an outside source, which may include song lyrics. Focus on theme and how style relates to sense. If you choose to use a poem or lyrics outside the textbook, you are expected to submit a copy of the text with the essay. Review LSSS, "Papers of Comparison and Contrast," before writing your essay, bearing in mind that the structure in Perrine is not the same as the structure you are expected to follow.
