Imagine that you’re a self-managing team of consultants that works for DePaul Consulting. Your team has been
assigned to the PharMed project. The primary client, Lance Paulson, would like you to provide an analysis of
the issues and challenges the PharMed team is facing, particularly as they relate to leadership, motivation,
conflict, and diversity. In addition, Paulson would like you to provide actionable recommendations that he and
his team can use to address the issues you identify. He’d like these recommendations to be based on the relevant
research literature.
Write a report in which you present your analysis and recommendations. Imagine that Paulson is your intended
audience. This report should be formatted to look like a business report, not a traditional academic paper. For
example, include an executive summary, then an overview of your analysis, and then your recommendations. Remember to also bring up topics such as teamwork, trust, specific people that may be bringing down the company, and any other problems within the team that may need to be addressed
It’s likely that your final report will be 3–5 pages, single spaced. I’ve provided a sample template on the next
page.
