Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)

      Description A vertical standard is one that applies to a specific industry such as those covered by 29 CFR 1910 Subpart R or 29 CFR 1926 (construction). Do you think the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) should have more vertical/industry-specific standards, or should there be just one set of horizontal standards that apply to all industries? Why do you think OSHA promulgated vertical standards in the first place?
