Media Analysis

  For this assignment, you are to observe “what the media tells you about being masculine and/or feminine” and consider those messages at macro, meso, and micro levels. Consider how media, a meso-level institution, both creates and reflects or resists gender ideology at macro levels. Consider, too, how media affects individuals at the micro level. Thirdly, how does consumption of media at micro levels affect the institutions and the ideologies media presents? The bulk of your paper should examine these questions.
