Along with your reading of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein you will conduct an
exploratory paper in regards to a moral stance from the text. You will ponder one of
Dr. Frankenstein’s decisions; for example, the creation of life, the abandonment of
life, or withholding important information and take a moral stance. You may say it
is either morally correct or not, but you must back your stance.
You must select a lens in which to view the morality of the given situation.
You may think about your stance philosophically, scientifically, theologically,
sociologically, mathematically, or any other microscope that will help you narrow
the view of your research.
