LGBT relationships

  This week’s reading touched on the continually expanding issue of LGBT relationships and law enforcement’s ability to respond to calls for service. Please respond to the following: As an officer, should your response to a domestic violence call involving a lesbian or gay couple be different than your response to a call involving a heterosexual couple? Why or why not? Should the department be responsible for training its officers for these situations? List any types of training programs currently in place in the field.
