Explain the key theories and the background information about your topic
Explain, who, what, where, when, why
Supporting Evidence Paragraph # 1 (6+ sentences)
Purpose: To prove your argument.
Assertion: Give one item, fact, or example you can tell readers that will help them better understand your claim.
