Just war

    What is terrorism? Can we as a nation really wage a War on Terrorism? Why or why not? Is a Manichean outlook on the world a good one to hold? Is it too simplistic? Is America’s post-Cold War policy about leadership or hegemony? Is the Bush doctrine one of preemption or prevention? Why is this distinction important? What is the “security dilemma” and how does this affect our foreign policy? Does the Bush doctrine of preemption ultimately act as a stabilizing or destabilizing force?
