- Select a recently published qualitative article from Q1 Project Management Journal (according to Scopus).
- Describe the journal ranking, impact factor of the journal where the paper was published.
- Introduce the title of the article. Tell about the overall content of this article: the geographical focus, period, subject, and, something about the author’s approach or interpretation. Comment on what the title leads you to expect from the article.
2. Analysis Information:
- Determine something about the purpose, audience, and, the addressed research, the claimed research gap in the paper: i.e., what we do not know, and how the authors intend to fill this research gap through their paper?
3. Primary Details:
- What is the main relationship discussed in the article?
- What is the core theoretical framework or literature review that the paper adopts? Do you agree with the theory used, and the literature review? Why yes? Why not.
- What kind of methodology did the author use? Do you agree with their methodological approach? Why yes or why not?
- Do they spell out their ontological and epistemological assumptions?
- What kind of methodology would you adopt for this research paper?
- what evidence the author used to support the position she or he has taken?
4. Presentation, Argumentation and evaluation:
- What are the main result(s) of the paper? How do the authors integrate these results within the literature (Discussion part)?
- What are the claimed theoretical contributions? Do you agree with them?
- What are the claimed practical contributions? Do you agree with them?
- How would you do things differently and why? Explain and expand?
- In what points do you agree with the authors, explain and tell us why?
