Inductive and deductive reasoning.

In chapter 2, Walliman provides a detailed explanation of the difference between inductive and deductive reasoning. This is a critical component of research methods as the reasoning you use as a researcher will dictate various aspects of your project (i.e. hypothesis, premises, methods, etc.).
