Your analysis shall include an assessment of key information required to make strategic decisions, as well as recommendations for the company moving forward. Required Materials Textbook David, F. Don Mills, Canada: Pearson Education Inc. *Internet research as required to support recommendations. Instructions 1. Review the section, “How to Prepare and Present a Case Analysis” section of your textbook (pp.358-365) 2. Read your assigned case. 3. Prepare an analysis that includes: a. Identification of the firms’ vision, mission, objectives, and strategies. b. A proposal for a new vision and mission that you feel would better represent the company. c. Assessment of: i. Internal strengths and weaknesses ii. External opportunities and threats iii. An IFE and EFE OR a SWOT Analysis d. Recommendations on strategic directions for the company that are supported by 2 of the following: i. SPACE Matrix ii. BCG Matrix iii. IE Matrix iv. QSPM e. Rationalization as to why recommendations are being made. 4. Overall analysis should not exceed 5 pages. It must be clearly written with no grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. It must be properly cited using APA style. Your grade for each component will be reflective of your ability to think critically; present sound arguments that are properly substantiated. 5. Case analysis should be submitted to the assignments page of course for grading and also posted as a document in the appropriate “Case Forum.” Evaluation The Case Analysis will be marked in its entirety out of 100.
