In addition, I am passionate about justice work—advocating on behalf of those whose voices may not otherwise be heard. As someone who has often felt unseen or unheard myself due to various forms of marginalization like gender identity or race (Rappaport et al., 2019), this type of work has become increasingly important as it allows me the opportunity to serve others by standing up for their rights when they are unable too do so themselves. This fuels my passion for making sure everyone feels seen, heard and respected no matter what their personal situation may look like. Likewise, this desire drives me forward when approaching difficult conversations around topics such as racism or sexism which often remain unaddressed due solely because they make us uncomfortable (Smith et al., 2015).

Overall it is my strong belief that Jesus calls all his followers to “love one another as He loves” (John 15:12) regardless if we feel different than them socially or politically–we should never forget the importance of having civil conversations while still respecting diversity amongst one another (Brunelle & Ellermeyer-Gulotta 2020). Consequently, I strive daily towards living out this verse by actively listening first before progressing into dialogue; setting a positive example instead of engaging in debates where neither participant truly listens; remaining humble even when faced with disagreement; praying constantly throughout any interaction; including moments of gratitude whenever possible; always maintaining an attitude grounded in grace rather than judgement–allowing myself space enough so humility can flow freely between both parties involved despite differences existing between them(Auger & Denton 2018). Life isn’t always easy but these actions keep me focused on serving God’s mission above all else even when outside noise becomes overwhelming at times .

In conclusion then ,my ultimate goal is simply using the gifts ,talents ,and passions given by God himself –to relentlessly pursue loving others deeply just as he does . To show mercy without condition ;exhibit patience even during trials ;and speak truth without hesitation . Every day holds new opportunities for clear communication ,challenging conversations ,and cultivating meaningful connections based on mutual trust –allowing Him access into places beyond anything humans could access .
