Healthcare cyber-attacks and their mitigation techniques in Industry 4.0 is the topic selected. Advanced threats and attacks have developed by cyber criminals unaware of healthcare professionals. I want to address the latest threats and mitigation strategies that help healthcare organizations and patients secure their information. Cybercriminals believe the healthcare industry is a soft target. Cybercriminals routinely target healthcare organizations. Healthcare industry vulnerabilities can be linked to various issues, including a lack of security awareness among care personnel, reliance on old unpatched systems that are no longer supported, a broad attack surface, and a lack of staffing resources.
Qualitative and quantitative research methods address the problem by conducting interviews and an online survey with healthcare professionals. Factor Analysis Information Risk (FAIR) and Technology acceptance models (TAM) are utilized for this study.

Humayun (2021) conducted a study that addressed the security issues encountered by healthcare organizations in the Industry 4.0 environment. The research sought to understand the most common types of social attacks against humans, what policies and governance adopted by healthcare organizations have resulted in enhanced resilience, how healthcare organizations can perform a cybersecurity risk assessment to identify the role of humans in the loop for enhancing cybersecurity, and what strategies have been proposed by national and international organizations to strengthen cyber resilience.
The findings suggest that malicious actors often target employees through phishing emails, social engineering tactics such as pretexting, baiting, or spear-phishing campaigns to steal confidential data. Additionally, targeted attackers are exploiting vulnerabilities created due to weak authentication protocols or employee negligence towards security procedures. To mitigate these threats, healthcare organizations must adopt comprehensive polices and regulations with adequate enforcement mechanisms along with regular awareness training programs to sensitize personnel on dealing with cyberattacks. Moreover, it is important for health care institutions to conduct frequent vulnerability assessments of their IT infrastructure as well as develop incident response plans which can be tested on a regular basis in order to prevent any potential attack attempts from succeeding.
In conclusion, it is essential for healthcare professionals including physicians and nurses alike become more aware of cyber threats and countermeasures required for safeguarding patient information from getting compromised due to technological advancements of Industry 4.0 era . This research provides insight into advanced techniques used by malicious actors targeting human behavior weaknesses within an organization’s network which could further help enhance organizational cyber defense strategy through proper training programs tailored specifically for addressing these exposures
