Greek Art

You will be creating an infographic chart on the evolution of Greek statues. Greek Art worked desperately to perfect the human form. Ancient Greek artworks reflect the values of Greek society. Remember the more you looked like a god the more you were treated like one. They became a body-obsessed society who created highly unrealistic images of the body. Thousands of years later our society is very similar. Choose an image from our visual culture (celebrities, films, comics, Disney, social media, advertising, etc) that continues to show unrealistic bodies. Students in the past have chosen so many wonderful topics from plastic surgery, the evolution of Spider-Man, waist-training and corsets.. the point is, it’s pretty much everywhere in our lives and are still very much influenced from Ancient Greek art! 3Please also demonstrate in your response how they are unrealistic and why do you believe they are socially acceptable images? What message do these images tell us? Has your image changed over the years? You should also be comparing how they relate to Greek statues. How do the changes over the years compare to how Greek statues changed over time? I have created an example that is located in the module for you to look at Instructions: Create an Infographic that teaches the reader about that topic. Your infographic should be at least 1-page (no more than three pages - standard PPT page or 8 ½ x 11 page). Beside the details / narrative you will have on your infographic (which makes an infographic an infographic), no other essay or writing required. Write your name on your infographic on the lower right corner. Use color. Be creative. Make your infographic visually stunning. It is perfectly fine to complete this assignment all in digital format. Utilize PowerPoint or Google docs Things to Include : Your modern topic - How have the bodies of your topic have changed over time? - Why do you think the bodies have changed over ti
