Introduction
The issue of homelessness is an ever-growing problem in many counties, including the one discussed in this paper. In recent years, increasingly large allocations of funds have been dedicated to providing temporary shelters for those without homes. However, despite these efforts, a county data report revealed that people who are homeless are still sleeping in their cars or parks. To better understand and address the issues at hand, it is necessary to adopt a qualitative research approach. This paper will discuss how to ensure that data sources used in a qualitative descriptive study on homelessness align with the research problem, purpose and questions posed.

Qualitative Research
Qualitative research is conducted using an inductive methodology which allows researchers to draw conclusions from collected data (Harper & Qualls). Qualitative studies employ open-ended methods such as interviews and focus groups as primary means of collecting information (Creswell & Clark). The findings from such studies often include insights not previously observed or considered by participants when responding to questionnaires (Grisso et al.). Additionally such studies provide more depth than could be gathered through surveys alone due to its ability to uncover personal stories and experiences from participants (Varcoe et al., 2004). Due to its exploratory nature, qualitative research can be especially helpful when addressing socio-cultural topics such as homelessness which may require particular attention towards individual perspectives and contexts (McLaughlin & Kalton).

Aligning Data Sources With Problem Purpose And Research Questions
When conducting any type of study it is essential that the data sources being utilized are relevant and properly aligned with the topic at hand. As mentioned before this means selecting methods like interviews or focus groups that allow gathering detailed accounts from participants instead of relying solely on survey results Without proper alignment between source material and area being studied there is risk that important patterns or nuances may be missed out on causing the investigation’s overall worthiness questionable at best . Therefore for our study concerning understanding barriers leading up effective policy outcomes regarding homelessness we must make sure our chosen sources match up well with what exactly we’re looking into . When doing so here few tips should be kept mind:

1) Firstly ,try find out what kind resources available access .Some good places look would include newspapers public records archives local media etc .These materials serve good starting point getting general overview situation while also giving insight into potential cultural norms attitudes involved surrounding issue . While broader ‘bigger picture’ insights found here they can also help narrow down specific populations areas further investigate if applicable

2)Once understood where get our information then need decide who going talk directly about experience itself;those actually involved situation directly represent group interest being addressed most closely likely having greatest impact desired outcome thus most valuable resource pertinent detail facts figures analysis needs

3)From perspective recruitment techniques used gather subjects reflected accurately upon population target accordingly Also selection criteria taken account ensure individuals chosen represent adequately range characteristics traits associated given demographic otherwise risk bias distorting validity results obtained

4)Take time assess methodological approach taken during entire process required generate reliable credible findings adhering highest ethical standards possible Both relevance appropriateness technique(s )used collection manipulation analysis all facets project play role determining success output end result produced

5)Finally whenever possible use multiple sources corroborate each other order gain deeper understanding issues presented We should strive triangulate discussing obtaining together relevant information different angles allowing crosschecking accuracy claims statements made along way Doing will great extent increase objectivity quality resulting work endeavor produce more valuable interpretations useful overall conclusion eventually come up within context inquiry Conclusion
In summary homelessnes has become growing issue across many parts world requiring us take seriously approaches tackling headway made Thus before carry any sort empirical study pertaining matter critical maintain alignment existing data respective problem purpose questions outlined since direct connection key achieving desired outcome Ultimately combination appropriate methodologies coupled careful consideration source material needed ensure accurate comprehensive comprehensive understanding subject order obtain desired goal set forth beginning
