SEDAR is the Canadian“System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval” for publicly listed companies. The SEDAR system allows users to gain immediate and intelligent access to issuer information in the public domain, and provides an important communications link among issuers, filers and the securities regulatory authorities.
Once at the sedar website (www.sedar.com), choose English, and then click on “Search Database”. Then, click on the black bar that says “COMPANY”.
Once at the search area, type in the company name. The name has to be typed in correctly for the search to work. Under “Document Type”, select ANNUAL REPORT. Under “Date of Filing”, choose a range of dates: December 1, 201g to today’s date. Don’t do anything with the ‘industry Group’ drop down menu. Click on SEARCH (do not click on ‘search Help’). What did you find?
