Drug trafficking has been a menace within society for a long time now because of its prevalence. Most of its
effects have been due to its conflict with most ethical and moral aspects of society. As drugs are being
trafficked, various elements take place in the way, such as torture of smugglers, killing of smugglers, and
addicts continue to suffer effects of the same drugs due to lack of control in the use and supply of the drugs. It
has been over forty years since the fight against drug trafficking started in the country, and while there have
been some achievements, more still needs to be done to curb the situation. Thus, further research needs to be
conducted on the most effective ways of dealing with and addressing drug trafficking. However, as per
research, there has been a long proposal of the legalization of drugs such as Marijuana, which accounts for
various ethical issues in society. Hence, amid the growing ethical concerns regarding ethical issues caused by
drug trafficking, the legalization of some drugs has been forecasted and researched as the ideal way of solving
