If you could create and propose an educational kid’s show, app, or game, what would it be? Think about it and then brainstorm to come up with a “pitch.” You can use The Cat in the Hat show bible, and the ARCS model for educational media as reference. You will post your group’s “pitch” on this module’s discussion.
Include the following information in your “pitch:”
a)Provide an overview/summary of the show’s key premise, including the age range of the kids targeted and your educational goals.
b)Introduce the main character(s) and/or setting. How would these characters contribute to kids’ learning?
c)Include any additional information (if possible) about the show’s formal or stylistic features, setting, music etc. What elements of the ARCS framework would you include? Who would you pitch your show or app idea to?
