Students will be required to write an analytical essay related to material covered in class. The essay intends to
foster critical, analytical thinking and communication skills. Your essay can be based on one or more
articles/video segments. Each essay must be 3 to 5 pages typed and double-spaced with one-inch margin. The
objective of the essay is to relate the article/video content to economics theories learned in the course. The
essay must also include a section addressing the social responsibility of individuals participating in a free
market economy as required by the state.
