Critique of Health Care Bill

    Choose a health policy or issue related to improving the health of the public and/or the elimination of health disparities. Research and select a state or a federal house or senate bill related to your topic. Compare and contrast the bills using the critique of bill chart to complete the assignment. This assignment does not need to be in APA format. Use the Bill Critique Form for your information. Include information in the cells in the “State Bill Response to Criteria” column and the assignment should not be more than two (2) pages. Submit the chart in the appropriate folder under the Assignments Tab in Blackboard. Be sure to use proper grammar, sentence structure and APA format when completing the grid. To research North Carolina bills click on the NC General Assembly link (Links to an external site.). Under “Full Site Search” type your search criteria such as nurse, nurse practitioner, nursing education, diabetes, etc. in the “type search criteria” box at the top right hand corner of the web page. To research federal bills go to Thomas in the Library of Congress (Links to an external site.). Type your search criteria under the “Legislation in Current Congress” area and review your findings.
