To create a selection plan, follow steps A, B & C:
A.List the KSAOS needed for the job and for each KSAO decide whether it is needed to be assessed in the selection process or not
B. Select the best assessment methods to be used for assessing the KSAOS. Explain why each method is the best in terms of reliability, validity, cost, utility and applicant reactions. Use the information in exhibits 8.8, 9.14 and 10.4 and 10.8 on pages 401, 469, 514 and 528 respectively. See these on the next page. Create a table demonstrating your choice of initial and substantive assessment methods and their evaluation criteria.
