Compare and contrast essay

  Overview: You will use the two academic summaries that we developed in the class to build a 5-page (1200 words max. — excluding references, titles and cover pages) double-spaced compare and contrast essay that uses APA format and style. The goal is to examine the similarities and differences between the two articles that we have engaged with in the course. Both of the articles examine how someone becomes an expert. What ideas are similar and what ideas are different in these articles. Also compare the type of reading and the evidence used. What is the purpose and audience for the articles? Are they similar or different? Explain. Length: The written compare and contrast essay (max. 1200 words) of "The Sweet Spot," and "The Making of an Expert," will include a title page, an effective title, an introduction, a thesis, body paragraphs that state a point/reason, proof/quote, and analysis/discussion of the quote, conclusion and a reference page. The essay will be in APA format and use APA for citations and references.
