            Task 1 - choose one of the following documents from American Yawp Ch. 4 to connect the history of religion in Early America: Jonathan Edwards Revives Enfield, Connecticut, 1741 (Links to an external site.) Samson Occom describes his conversion and ministry, 1768 (Links to an external site.) Blueprint and Photograph of Christ Church (Links to an external site.) Task 2 - use an object from the Smithsonian's Exhibit on Religion in Early America (Links to an external site.) that relates to the document selected in Task 1. The exhibit is divided into several pages. Diversity, Freedom, and Growth explain the context of religion in early American and New England, Mid-Atlantic, and The South contain the relevant objects on display. Task 3 - in a post of 250-300 words, explain how your chosen document and object work together to demonstrate the history of religion in early America.
