While statistics can help us understand systemic problems like discrimination or poverty which affect these young people disproportionately , ultimately it is up to parents to provide a supportive home environment where their children feel safe and empowered to pursue their dreams despite any obstacles they may face.

I agree largely with this argument as I think it accurately identifies some key issues facing African Americans males today . As someone who grew up as a Black man myself , I know firsthand from my personal experiences how difficult navigating life can be due the fact there are often fewer resources available for minority communities compared to others . Governmental investment into anti-poverty initiatives , improved access to mental health services , additional funding for schools serving primarily minority students are all needed if we hope give these young men every opportunity succeed without being held back due systemic inequalities affecting them disproportionately . Additionally positive role models such as mentors who share similar experiences must also play an important part giving these kids someone who understands what they’re going through while offering advice based on real world knowledge rather than abstract theories one might read about but never actually experience themselves (Gilliard & Dunnigan 2020). We must also begin conversations early addressing topics like implicit bias even just within our own homes so that our future generations will hopefully learn ways avoid falling victim prejudices preventing them from achieving goals many take granted but not everyone has same opportunity do easily (Buchanan et al 2018). We owe it next generation make sure prepare them best we can equip skills tools necessary live full productive lives free limitations posed upon too many already (Rogers 2021).
