Case summary and analysis

  In late June 2019, China banned pork (and beef) from Canada to Chinese market. The ban was lifted in early November, 2019. 1)Provide a brief summary of the case, including the role of the Canadian government. 2)Assume that the pork industry is in perfect competition. Analyze how the ban on Canadian pork affect different interest groups in Canada and in China. Please provide both theoretical analysis and empirical analysis (statistics/data).
