When we consider branding it is a marketer’s intention to attain interest, build desire to obtain an action. The action over time hopefully builds into a relationship. Loyalty is when your customers keep coming back. A customer may fill out a satisfaction survey that is based on possibly a few purchases. I would like to add to this discussion that consumer advocacy is when a customer is readily prepared and willing to recommend your brand and services to someone you do not know.

When measuring customer loyalty are you measuring how the customers are hanging with you through good times and bad?
