Becoming black with God

    Do you think it’s possible for Christians, particularly white Christians living in the U.S., to “become black with God?” (See A Black Theology of Liberation, pp. 65-66, 97, 123.) If yes, how? If no, why not? In your answer to this question, you may wish to explain what Cone does and does not mean by the phrase “become black with God,” interpreting the phrase in the broader context of the book. You should support your answer by quoting or paraphrasing from different parts of the book.
