Attending an IEP meeting

C​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​omplete an advocacy activity by attending IEP meeting for a child and participate in it. Then complete a 3-page essay about the experience. Students should descr​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​ibe the activity and their role in it, people that they met in the meeting, and any impact that the experience had on their feelings toward the autism community​‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍​.
