To ensure security while traveling overseas I plan on investing in a good quality combination lock as well as purchasing software which can help encrypt sensitive data stored on laptops or phones. Finally it’s important not forget various power adapters which are often required when travelling internationally in order to utilize my devices abroad.

For my own deployment gear, I anticipate planning for a complete system that includes all necessary tools and accessories. My plan is to purchase an appropriate backpack or other bag with plenty of pockets and compartments for storing essential items such as a laptop, passport, phone, charger cables and other small electronics. I will also include ample space for any clothing or equipment needed for the deployment.
