Analysis paper

In this course we have discussed the incredible changes that occurred in the United States during the Gilded Age (1870-1900). We have covered the effects of industrialization and de-skilling of the work place; the rise of wealth inequality and theories to justify or correct it; the massive waves of immigration from Southern and Eastern Europe amongst other changes in the country. Using the lectures and the textbooks explain what was the most important change or shift to occur in the United States during that time? Provide evidence of why you think this was the most important change in American society.
