A report on the current state and future challenges for a particular industry or firm

  In this report you are outlining and analysing the current state and future challenges for a particular industry or firm with regard to a particular aspect of the trends, concepts and debates regarding business-government relations, as investigated in the course. You are applying your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios. You may focus on your chosen industry: (i) as a whole, (ii) a sub-sector within a larger industry or (iii) selecting one firm within the industry. This industry / sub-sector / firm must be analysed with regard to one key trend identified in the course from the following topics: Government and governance around the world Neoliberalism and the changing role of the state Sub-state and supra-state governance In the report you need to identify and analyse: 1.The current state of your chosen industry / sub-sector / firm; 2.The current academic literature, debates and/or concepts regarding one of the three topic areas above; 3.The key factors and trends regarding business-government relations in your chosen industry / sub-sector / firm with regard to the topic selected; 4.In light of the previous information, highlight what is the most pressing challenge affecting your chosen industry / sub-sector / firm with regard to the topic area and justify your choice.
