  Consider a pay raise dispute for a Sheriff Deputy-Major. The case we will analyze and discuss is Case Study 7 - 4 found on pages 383 - 385 in the textbook. This case is challenging because it involves the labor contract between the State Law Officers' Association and the County. The grievance has already gone through a County grievance process and was turned down and is now in arbitration connected to the labor union contract with the County. Students will submit a two-page paper analyzing the case and responding to the five questions on page 385.
