Please write a definition essay where you provide a stipulative definition for one of the following words: Love Sacrifice Hero Loyalty Compassion Mercy Justice These are the only terms you make select. Essays about other terms will be graded a zero. Remember, a stipulative definition is one that is not found in a dictionary, but one that you or someone else has created. You must support your definition with evidence or incidents that demonstrate the definition in action, or show the need for it to be more widely adopted in your opinion. These incidents can arise from your own personal experience, but as usual if you want to aim for a higher level grade it is good to look for examples from history and culture as well (make sure to cite your sources).
