Discuss your example of unequal access to resources. Describe the individual or group of individuals in the inferior position, and the one’s in the superior position. Discuss the norms that develop to maintain a sense of balance between the groups, particularly the norms of the individual in the superior position. How does the superior gain legitimacy? How do they maintain their power according to Blau? What might cause the relationship to deteriorate? (9 points) Here are some examples you might use:
