Directions:
you will design a syllabus individualized for your learning. To do this, you need to develop learning outcomes,
identify readings and resources, and plan field-based learning activities. The (annotated guided study form)
should be used to document your plan. Your syllabus should cover 15-weeks (May 23-August 22).The site,
Syllabus Design, (Links to an external site.) has a wealth of resource information for creating your learning
experience.
Objectives for syllabus to be strongly considered:
a. Increase community and/or professional engagement through community coalitions, advisory groups,
professional networks/organizations, organization boards/leadership committees, etc. to improve competencies
and communication of prevention strategies and interventions.
b. Develop/increase competencies for dissertation and technical writing through outcomes and activities that
result in knowledge acquisition, practice, and feedback such as workshops, webinars, coaching services, and
online writing tools.
